Guilford Central School: Who are we?

Guilford Central School is a rural K-8 public school located in Guilford, Vermont. We place great emphasis on the development of our young people as active and contributing community members. The Guilford Central School community, including students, educators, families and community members, is committed to developing instructional programs and practices which support our beliefs.

Directions

If coming from south:

  1. Take Exit One off of I-91 in Brattleboro.
  2. Turn left going south onto Calvin Coolidge Highway (Rt. 5).
  3. Go a little over a mile and turn right at the Guilford Country Store, onto Guilford Center Road.
  4. Go approximately 4 miles until you reach School Road, where you take a right.
  5. Follow School Road until you hit a cul-de-sac in front of the school.

This website was planned and content gathered by eighth graders at GCS during the 2005-6 year; it is maintained by eighth graders, Stuart Strothman, Bill Ortlieb, and Cathi Wilken, who has volunteered for four years. Originators of this site were Jeff, Aaron, Daphne, Hanna, Jacob, and Jesse with help from web developer Barb Ackemann, and GCS teachers Jen Kramer and Stuart Strothman.
