Parents and community members are a vital part of our school program. We welcome your time, energy, suggestions and support. We fully recognize our responsibilities as educators of Guilford's students and we need continued support and reinforcement in order to fully meet this challenge.
Here is our communication process for the school: First, please feel free to notify any staff person directly when you have questions or concerns. After you have spoken with the staff member involved, the principal is available to talk about any suggestions you may have. Please call for an appointment to be certain that the staff person you want to see is free at the time you are available. If that staff member is not available, you can leave a message and the secretary will see that your message is forwarded or you can leave a message on the staff member's voice mail and they will get back to you at a time that is convenient.
We will be in touch with parents often. Teachers and staff will call home to talk about a student's progress. We may call to ask for your help in supervising a trip or to bake for a special celebration.
