If you have any questions concerning bus routes or procedures, please call the school.

These rules apply to behavior at the bus stops also. Supervision is not provided at bus stops. The breaking of any of the above rules will result in the following:

The principal retains the discretion to revoke riding privileges after the first offense she/he finds it appropriate.

Students who walk or ride bicycles to and from home must have written permission from their parent or guardian. These students will leave school after the buses have departed.

For your child's protection and so the bus drivers can be aware of the any transportation changes, the office must be notified with either a note or a phone call from a parent of any student who will not be taking the bus home or who wishes to change their bus stop or ride a different bus for the afternoon trip home. Students will not be let off the bus without prior notification from parents requesting the change or left alone at a bus stop unless an arrangement with the bus driver has been made to do so.

If a student misses the bus, he/she should come to the office where transportation home will be arranged after notifying the parent.

Packages, bundles, and knapsacks can only be brought on the bus if they can be held on the lap or put under the seat. Objects with sharp edges and animals cannot be brought on the bus.

Mud Season Bus Schedule

During mud season, which will soon be upon us, impassable dirt roads may cause buses to run on pavement only or force school to be canceled. We ask parents to listen daily each morning to the radio, WTSA 96.7(254-4577) WKVT 92.7 (254-2343) & WKNE 103.7, for any changes or decisions which would cancel school or change the bus routes to a mud season or back again to a regular bus schedule.

If alternative bus schedule below is used , parents are reminded:
