BREAK APRIL 19 – 23; NO SCHOOL

A mixed aged classroom informational evening will be held Thursday, May 6

= from 6:30-7:30 P.M. at the school. This will be an opportunity for parents interested in the new grade configuration to hear from John and teachers regarding the change and ask questions.

VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENTS

Grades 4-6 Tournament, Tuesday, April 13, 1 - 2:45

Grades 6-8 Tournament, Thursday, April 15, 1:00 - 3:00

CHESS TOURNAMENT

The Brattleboro Recreation & Parks Department is pleased to announce they will be having a Friendly Youth Chess Tournament for children Kindergarten to Grade 8. The Tournament will be meeting in the Gibson-Aiken Center Senior Center on Saturday, April 24 from 1 to 4:00 P.M. The cost of this program is $2.00 for participants that pre-register or $3.00 at the door. Eric Strickland will be running the tournament. Depending on the number of entrants, contestants will be divided into appropriate groups. Swiss System, no players are ever eliminated. Game boards will be provided. Come join the fun!

Required Dress for Physical Education Classes

T-shirt that has a crew neck only with short or long sleeves Shirts that are sleeveless, have cap sleeves, buttons, zippers, scoop necks, v necks or inappropriate slogans are inappropriate for PE classes. T-shirt only - One layer only - No sweatshirts Shorts, skorts, jeans, pants or sweat pants. Dresses and skirts are inappropriate for PE classes. No short shorts.

Inside Sneakers. These sneakers are to be worn in the gym only! ***

Please check with your child to see if their inside shoes are still comfortable. Many students in the spring find that the shoes they have been wearing are now too small and uncomfortable. Any questions - Please feel free to contact John Gagnon, Principal or Evvie Jakub, Physical Education Teacher
