KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION

Registration for the 2009-2010 kindergarten class at Guilford Central School will be held on Friday, April 17 at the Guilford Central School

Any Guilford resident who has a child that will be five years old on or by September 1, 2009 should contact the school at 254-2271 to schedule an appointment for that day.

Anyone seeking an exception to this policy must send the request in writing to the school by April 1. For early admission, testing will be allowed for any child whose birthday falls less than 60 days beyond the September 1 date.

Vermont law now requires proof of immunization, but children may be exempt from immunization for medical, religious or moral reasons.

Dan Butterworth and His Marionettes will perform Carnaval del Mundo at the Putney Central School gym, Putney, VT on Friday, March 27th, at 7 p.m. The $5 admission and bake sale proceeds will benefit our garden program. Dan is from Rhode Island and has performed throughout the U.S. and internationally. Unlike typical puppet shows, Dan's marionettes have shorter strings, and he dances on stage with them. The show appeals to children and adults. For more information go to butterworthproductions.com and watch for articles in the entertainment section of the Brattlebor Reformer. We hope you will enjoy the show!
