THE 2ND H1NI CLINIC for students 9 and under is scheduled for Friday December 11. Students will ride the bus to Vernon in the morning. Consent forms have already been signed. Please have your child wear a short sleeved shirt for the vaccination. Any questions please call Janet Michaud-school nurse.

REGISTRATION PAPERWORK FOR WINTER SPORTS will go home in the Friday Folders today.. Forms are to be returned with a check on Monday, December. 7. If your child does not register, they will not be able to participate. Based the registrations returned, a decision will be made whether an activity will actually occur. If an activity does not attract sufficient interest, it will not happen. The paperwork filled out previously was only a survey to gauge interest in the activities.

  • As in the past, Kindergarten parents are required to accompany their child to the various activities. Mt. Snow does not allow Kindergartners to participate in the skiing program.
  • Parents are required to provide transportation home from the activities for their children on the winter sports' five Tuesday afternoons in January and February. The school only provides transportation to the various activities.
  • Transportation home is not provided for students who do not participate in winter sports. Dismissal is at 11:55 P.M. for students not participating. Parents will need to make arrangements for transportation.

SAVE THE DATE!!!! - TUESDAY, DECEMBER 22 - 10:00-10:30 A.M. Parents, younger brothers and sisters and community members are welcome to come to the Middle School Holiday Extravaganza Show. Watch the 6th graders perform TINIKLING and be amazed with the JUGGLING skills of our 7th and 8th graders. This is an event you won't want to miss!

  • ROLLER SKATING PARTY Friday, December 11, 6:30 - 9:00 P.M. Come support the 8th grade class trip. There are several pairs of kneepads and elbow pads at the school for kids to use. There will be hot dogs, drinks and snacks for sale. Kids need to bring their own helmet.
  • 8th GRADE CLASS MEETING on Monday, December 7 at 6:30 P.M. at the school.All 8th graders and parents are welcome.
  • REFRESHMENTS ~ The 8th grade class with be selling refreshments, such as gatorades, chips, granola bars, and misc. snack items, at all home basketball games.
  • PROJECT FEED THE THOUSANDS Third grade will be collecting non-perishable food in the school lobby until Tuesday, Dec. 22. This year the need for food is greater than ever. Please send in canned foods, soups, pasta, cereal, peanut butter, juice and baby foods. Diapers, formula and personal care items are also needed.

CHRISTMAS BAZAAR FEATURES HOLIDAY CONCERT

DEC 5 AT GUILFORD COMMUNITY CHURCH

Come out and support Guilford Church's annual Christmas Bazaar, on Saturday, December 5 and shop! Handmade crafts, balsam holiday wreaths, white elephant items, and baked goods such as specialty cookie platters and jams will be on sale from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. There will be a free holiday children's concert at 11:00 a.m. upstairs, featuring performer Michael Mario. Lunch is available and a raffle for lovely quilts, American Girl doll, restaurant gift certificates and much more will be held. This is the major fundraiser for Guilford Community Church that supports many local organizations including the Boy Scouts, the Drop in Center, and Hospice.

Fair Trade Craft Fair, Saturday December 6, Trinity Lutheran Church, from 9 A.M. until 2 P.M.. This fair will feature beautiful high-quality handcrafted items made by disadvantaged artisans in developing regions of the world. Proceeds will go towards Lutheran World Relief partners and projects overseas. Come and do your holiday shopping early!

Before winter settles in, come get to know some of the special wildlife that calls BEEC home. We will learn about animal adaptations, various habitats, what these animals might eat, or how they may move through their surroundings. Discover the ways animals prepare for the cold! Dress for the weather.
